After ten years of creating internationally bestselling books and working with award-winning photographers and luminaries such as Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, NZ-based PQ Blackwell, the creator of MILK (Moments, Inspiration, Love and Kinship) has launched MILK Tailor Made Books, a website that makes it possible for anybody to create an exquisite tailor made book whether it be a life story, an elegant photo book or an ambitious art book or album.

To celebrate the April launch of www.milkbooks.com, PQ Blackwell is supporting Starship Children’s Hospital by auctioning off the images from the original MILK Exhibition held at Grand Central Terminal in New York in 2001. Over 70 framed images and individual photographic prints from the original exhibition will be available, including eight from NZ photographers. The first auctions commence on Trade Me on Wednesday 4 April, and all proceeds from the auctions will be donated to the Starship Foundation.
The auctions of the photos will be at www.trademe.co.nz/stores/milk-books

This is a unique opportunity to own an image from the much-loved MILK Collection, and each winning bid, no matter how big or small, will help ensure the ongoing provision of world class healthcare to more than 120,000 children from around New Zealand each year. The winners of each auction will also receive a free Bespoke Book or Bespoke Photo Book from www.milkbooks.com.

The entire auction catalogue will be showcased as part of The MILK Exhibition, an online showcase of MILK's most special moments. Launching on March 20 at www.facebook.com/milkbooks, this project aims to curate the history of MILK permanently online for a global audience to participate, enjoy, and share.

“The Starship Foundation is so grateful for the support of MILK Tailor Made Books,” says Starship Foundation CEO Brad Clark.  “We encourage everyone to bid generously on the extraordinary MILK photos being auctioned on Trade Me.  All the proceeds will directly help Starship kids from all around the country.”
The Starship Foundation and MILK Tailor Made Books thank you for your support.
