Nova Energy excited to rise with Phoenix

Nova Energy Chief Executive Officer Babu Bahirathan today welcomed a sponsorship deal that Nova Energy has agreed with the Wellington Phoenix Football Club.



Mr Bahirathan said he was excited about the partnership as it represented a significant opportunity to raise the profile of Nova Energy, NZ's fastest growing energy supplier.



'The Wellington Phoenix is a relative newcomer to the demanding A-League football competition, but the club has demonstrated that it can match it with its Australian rivals. The Phoenix has developed a strong national profile.



"Nova is delighted to be associated with the club as it continues to achieve good results on the pitch and growing interest off it."



Nova Energy is a New Zealand owned and operated energy company, and unique in offering a total range of energy solutions including natural gas, electricity, LPG and solar.



Mr Bahirathan said that Nova Energy's name on the back of the Phoenix shirt will be the most visible marker of the relationship.



"But there will be a lot more than that to our association with the Phoenix. Nova Energy wants to work with the club on a number of levels, in ways that brings benefits to both partners.



"This will include special offers to Phoenix fans should they choose to move their energy supply to Nova Energy. Details of the offer will be launched in the next month," Mr Bahirathan said.



Nova Energy wishes the Phoenix all the best for the upcoming finals series of the A-League.
