WAIKATO

Ding ding! As with any Young Farmer initiative, the concept was discussed between a couple of our members late one evening to have a Young Farmers boxing night. From this basic concept, the idea has taken off on the back of typical Young Farmer enthusiasm, where a number of our members will bare it all in the ring in the name of charity and sportsmanship.

Proceeds from the event are to be donated to charity to allow Young Farmers to continue to give back to our local communities, while enjoying a chance to settle some scores with each other in the boxing ring. The boxers have all put their hands up and are committed to an onerous few months of training leading up to the event and will square off in a series of three-round boxing bouts.

The number one goal for the night is to ensure that as a region, we are able to raise a substantial amount of proceeds which are to be donated to charity.

Our chosen sponsor for this year is the Air Ambulance, an organisation which continues to play a vital role in our rural communities.

Ticket numbers are limited with 3  different tiers of seating around the boxing ring:
- Gold (Ringside - Corporate) $80 per person
- Silver (Middle layer) $60 Per Person
- Bronze (General Admission)  $45 Per person

Tables seat 8 people with plattered food provided within the ticket price, a cash bar available, and entertainment throughout the night from a local comedian. Get in quick to what will be a great night of entertainment all in the name of charity!
