Palmerston North City Council Chief Executive Reappointed

The Chief Executive of the Palmerston North City Council has been reappointed to a five-year term by Councillors in what was a unanimous decision.

Palmerston North City Mayor Jono Naylor says over the past five years the City Council has made significant progress under Paddy Clifford's leadership.

"I look forward to working with Mr Clifford and the rest of the staff in the coming years as we make Palmerston North and even better place."

Mr Clifford welcomed his reappointment, "the appointment process is rigorous and I am both pleased and grateful to have received a second term to serve the Council and the people of Palmerston North."

"We have created a great team and our relationship with Councillors is very good. It will help us continue to transform our city into a vibrant, caring, innovative and sustainable city for the future."
