The by-election is required as a result of the resignation of Bluff Community Board member Scott Allan.

Invercargill City Council Electoral Officer Graham Low said voting papers would go out on June 8 and all electors should have received their papers by June 11.

“Electors are reminded that completed voting papers must be in my hands no later than 12 noon, Saturday, June 30.

“Papers can be dropped off to the Invercargill City Council Civic Administration Building or the Bluff Service Centre before the Saturday deadline,” Mr Low said.
