Animal Control Afterhours Service

The public are reminded that Tararua District Council runs an after hours service for Animal Control complaints. The service provided is at an “urgent response” level. If you have any complaints about barking or roaming dogs, please call the council number and our after hours call centre will take your call and if appropriate will dispatch an afterhours officer to investigate. The regular Animal Control Officers will, at the next opportunity, follow up the issue if the issue requires further attention.
