Each week the Council produces a 15-minute radio show that delves into the huge variety of work it is carrying out around the District.
The Tasman District Council Lowdown is presented by Richard Liddicoat, Council’s online communications officer. The show interviews experts to get a better understanding of specific projects and issues, highlights community achievements, and gives listeners the opportunity to hear direct from their elected representatives and the staff who make great things happen across our District.
The show airs on Fresh FM on Mondays at 11.40 am and Wednesdays at 3.40 pm (repeat). Fresh FM is a community access radio station partially funded by NZ on Air. It broadcasts across the Top of the South region on the following frequencies:
- Nelson-Tasman 104.8 FM
- Golden Bay 95.0 FM
- Blenheim 88.9 FM
