Citizens of Samoa, Tonga, Kiribati and Tuvalu who have submitted their registration applications for this year’s ballot under the Samoan Quota (SQ) or Pacific Access Category (PAC) will find out today if their applications are successful from the ballot draw.

The official lists of successful registration numbers from the SQ and PAC ballots will be available from any Immigration New Zealand (INZ) Pacific branch, the New Zealand High Commission in Tarawa, Tuvalu High Commission in Suva and the Tuvalu Department of Labour. Successful ballot lists will also be available on the INZ website www.immigration.govt.nz

Applicants in New Zealand can call the Immigration Contact Centre on 0508-55-88-55, quoting their client registration number, to check the outcome of their application.

Acting Head of Immigration New Zealand Steve Stuart says only successful numbers are listed and INZ will only contact successful applicants.

Successful applicants will have up to six months to complete and lodge their residence application.  These must be submitted no later than Friday 11 January 2013.

People who are unsuccessful this year are encouraged to register for next year’s draw.
