Free activities available for school holidays

Matariki, animals, milo, poetry, sign language, local history, crafts and more; there’s something for all kids at the Taupō District Libraries and Museum these school holidays.

Education Officer, Tammy Merriman, is excited to present her first ever Holiday Programme to the children of Taupō. She says: “I’m looking forward to engaging with local families and visitors alike.”

In addition, the Turangi Library will again offer a popular programme including Mobile making, T-shirt Reconstruction, Introduction to skincare and makeup and interesting crafts with Gendi Te-Keepa.
