Counting down to voting deadline

With less than a week to go before the Bluff Community Board by-election voting deadline, Invercargill City Council Electoral Officer Graham Low is reminding people to deliver their voting papers to either the Bluff Service Centre or the Invercargill City Council.

All voting papers must be in the hands of Mr Low no later than noon, Saturday, June 30.

“As of today there has been a voter return percentage 50.9%,” Mr Low said.

Mr Low advised people that papers should not be posted as they may miss the deadline.

Papers can be dropped off at the Civic Administration Building or the Bluff Service Centre and both of these facilities will be open on Saturday.
