Immigration New Zealand has extended the deadline for submission of all Samoa Quota and Pacific Access Category residence applications to Friday 15 March 2013 instead of 11 January 2013 as announced earlier.

The 1,100 citizens of Samoa and 400 citizens of Tonga, Kiribati and Tuvalu who are successful from this year’s quota ballots will have an extra two months to put in their applications.

Acting Head of Immigration New Zealand Steve Stuart says the decision to extend the deadline will give applicants extra time to look for a job offer and get all the necessary documentation needed for their application.

Residence applications can be lodged at any Immigration New Zealand Pacific branches in Fiji, Tonga or Samoa.
