Closed Roads
Murchison
State Highway 65 south of Murchison from O’Sullivan’s Bridge to Springs Junction (Shenandoah) remains closed due to flooding. It will be reassessed around 3pm Monday.
Open Roads
The following (previously closed) roads are now open.
Nelson
Avon Terrace from Bridge Street to Hardy Street is now open.
State Highway 6
Other affected state highways that connect to the Nelson Tasman region
According to NZTA.govt.nz,
- State Highway 6 Rai Valley to Renwick is now open (Marlborough Region)
- State Highway 6 Inangahua to Westport is now open (West Coast Region)
