Rates Rebate Scheme

For the 2012-13 rating year (up to $590)

If you are on a low income you may be one of the residential ratepayers in Marlborough who qualify for a rates rebate.

Contact Council’s Customer Service department, Ph: 03 520 7400 to find out if you qualify and how to apply.

Should you prefer to speak to someone face-to-face, dedicated staff will be available to help you at the Council office in Blenheim from Wednesday 1 August, for six weeks.

The amount of any rates rebate is based on three factors:

• Your annual rates levy
• You and your partner’s total income
• The number of dependants residing in the home in which you live
