Bylaw For Advertising Trailers

Trailers advertising a plethora of different commodities are causing complaints from residents.

Clearly many home owners find these vehicles unsightly parked all day outside their front doors.

There is no law to prohibit advertising on vehicles on the street if you are outside a time limited parking space, whereas there are criteria for all other signage in the city.

The Mayor said: “This has been an increasing problem in suburbs and although we are talking to the promulgators, the Council believes now is the time to invoke a bylaw.”
