BLENHEIM

One of the most regular comments about downtown Blenheim from visitors is that it’s hard to find the way around and our newer residents also report that they get disoriented from time to time – so the Council is doing something about it.

New signs like this will show the way.

The first four of the new signs are at Market Place, the Criterion Hotel, the Railway Station and the corner of Maxwell and Market Streets.

This is all part of the Council’s Urban Growth Strategy for the Blenheim CBD. As budget permits, 11 more signs like this will go in around the downtown area.

Each wayfinder post also has a ‘you are here’ map of the town centre and a location map of the wider Blenheim area
