Positive Ageing - Put On Those Dancing Shoes

An afternoon of old time dancing – it’s a great way to get the body moving and to liven up the social life.

Any Marlborough senior who likes a whirl around the dance floor will be welcome at the “Young at Heart” dance on Sunday afternoon, 23 September, at the Clubs of Marlborough.

There’ll be spot prizes and prizes for those with the best outfits from ‘days gone by’, someone will be chosen king and queen of the dance floor and there’ll be opportunity for those in wheelchairs to join in.

• Entry by ticket only – no door sales. Tickets are $5 each, available from Grey Power, the Combined Clubs, Presbyterian Support or Age Concern Marlborough.
