On Saturday the 17th of November, just over a year after the release of their debut album, Six60 will take the stage at Auckland's seated ASB Theatre for an unprecedented one off live extravaganza.

Over the last twelve months this hardworking young band has seen its soul, rock, roots and electronica infused stock soar to exciting new levels. A record breaking sales run on iTunes, triple platinum album sales, and a successful touring foray into Europe and the United Kingdom, all the while maintaining a massive live presence across New Zealand and Australia and racking up the platinum and double platinum singles.

Facts and figures aside, Six60 have always spoken the strongest in concert. For this very special show, the band will build upon their dynamic and diverse "Live & Massive" performance, with some special new elements added into the mix. Firstly, "Six60 Unplugged", which will see the band strip back a few of their resonant anthems. And in contrast, they will also debut a couple of expansive orchestral arrangements, performed with the prestigious Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.   Attendees can expect a spectacular next level stage show, one unlike any other Six60 concert held to date.

Lead singer Matiu Wallters says he and the guys are looking forward to the November show:

“This show is going to be completely different from anything we've ever done before. As well as our usual live energy, we'll be stripping back some songs to their purest forms and then for others we will be working with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra to take some songs in a totally different direction.

“It's going to be a really special once only show”.

In addition, Six60 are re-recording Lost, arguably one of the most powerful songs on the album, with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. This version, accompanied by a video directed by Robin Walters of Curious Films, will be released in September.

A very good year deserves to be celebrated with a very good party. On Saturday the 17th of November, come take part in a new keynote moment in the Six60 story. They hope very much to see you there.
