Discussing a “Smart and Connected” Future for our District
The Marlborough District Council has begun work to establish a vision for Marlborough and a direction for the economic and social development of the region.
Council has been examining the assets and advantages of Marlborough and considering how best to encourage and plan for a secure and prosperous future.
The Council wants the whole community to join in this discussion.
Researcher Amanda Lynn will present her research and analysis to a public meeting in Picton on Wednesday 29 August, 5.30 pm-7.30 pm at the Mercure Hotel. Her presentation sheds new light on the make-up of our local economy and the opportunity that exists. Councillors and senior Council staff will be there to hear the public discussion after the presentation.
