Lindsay Thomas secures a seat on the Invercargill City Council
Lindsay Thomas has been elected to serve as a Councillor on the Invercargill City Council, Electoral Officer Graham Low announced today.
Electoral Officer Graham Low said he had received 13,747 votes from a total roll of 38,493, which represented a voter return percentage of 35.7%.
The need for an election to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Invercargill City Council arose due to the resignation of Cr Jackie Kruger on June 8.
