All Black v Italy

November’s SKYWATCH magazine is being delivered to more than 500,000 SKY customers this week and as a nation of rugby fans we expect questions to be asked as to why the All Blacks v Italy match appears as unconfirmed.

We want to assure SKY Sport customers that we have bid for the All Blacks v Italy match to be held on November 18th 2012, kicking off at 3am local time.

SKY is delighted to have secured television broadcast rights for all other All Blacks 2012 European Tour matches against Scotland, Wales and England.

The All Blacks v Italy match is an important one to SKY and our customers and we are hopeful we can offer this match to SKY customers as well.

SKY has been in negotiations for the rights to this match for some time and it is not uncommon for sports rights to be confirmed days or even hours before an event begins. Although we would prefer to secure the rights as early as possible so that production can be finalised and promotion of the match can begin.

SKY will continue to endeavor to secure the rights for this match until kick off, or until there is another successful bidder.
