BLENHEIM

Councillors and Council’s Assets and Services managers had morning tea with All Blacks' captain Ritchie McCaw who was in Blenheim on Tuesday with three other members of the 2012 All Blacks' squad as part of a national rugby promotion.

Mayor Alistair Sowman and Councillor Peter Jerram shared a cuppa with the All Blacks' captain along with his team members Sam Whitelock, Owen Franks and Julian Savea. Tributes – and an All Blacks' jersey – were presented to local rugby stalwart Colin Cameron recognising his 15 years of service as groundsman at the home of Marlborough rugby, Lansdowne Park.
