TAP (Technical Assistance Programme) is a government initiative to assist small scale (less than 5000) suppliers of drinking water to operate their supply, manage the risks and to make effective use of equipment.

TAP facilitator Peter Cowdell from the Wairarapa Health Unit will attend a meeting at the Tararua District Council chambers on November 29 at 6.30pm to explain how the programme works.

Schools in small communities and marae are examples of organisations that might benefit from further enquiry into the TAP programme.
