Jesse Ryder penalised for breaching NZC Code of Conduct
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) today confirmed that Wellington's Jesse Ryder has received a penalty under NZC's Code of Conduct.
During the Plunket Shield match between the Wellington Firebirds and Central Stags on 28th – 31st October 2012, Ryder was reported by the umpires for a Level One breach of the code by using language that was offensive and insulting during the course of the match.
The commissioner’s report proposed a fine of $750.
