'LIfe is Sweet' art exhibition 20 - 26 May 2013

Life is sweet… and art is too!

Husband and wife team, Alan and Ellen Hodgetts present their first joint exhibition at the Thistle Gallery, Corner of Arthur and Cuba Street, Te Aro, Wellington City.

Commencing 20 May 2013, 'Life is Sweet' showcases individual work as well as collaborations by Alan and Ellen Hodgetts under their 'SweetArts' brand.

Something for everybody
The artists' work is multi-disciplinary and the exhibition will feature a range of themes, styles, and media. The exhibition will be offering for sale original works, limited edition prints as well as some fun and quirky gifts.

"Whilst our individual styles differ, the cohesion in this exhibition comes from their united artistic values. We take our art seriously but not ourselves. We aim to be welcoming and accessible, not elitist or snooty!"
