March Against Monsanto - Hamilton

Attendees of Saturdays March Against Monsanto, held in Garden Place, Hamilton. Over  400 marches were held in 50 countries. Monsanto are the worlds largest bio-tech and agrichemical company.                  Monsanto are the manufacturers of Roundup, a pesticide used widely in New Zealand. They also created PCBs DDT, 2,4,5-T, and Agent Orange - the chemical weapon used in the Vietnam war.
