Tonight in Parnell, Peter Chapple of Euroasia will be talking about how the language you speak affects the way people perceive you. Mr Chapple, who is Principal of Euroasia, says: "We aim to get you thinking more about language by reflecting on some of the myriad ways that people around the world express their ideas through the languages they speak." The talk is informative, but not academic, and there is plenty of scope for audience input. We are expecting a range of Euroasia clients to participate in exploring how the language you speak affects the way you see the world.
Euroasia Director, Kenneth Leong, says: "We are seeing greater demand from clients for advice on how to more effectively connect with clients and suppliers from overseas. I think this stems from greater awareness of cultural differences and the importance of bridging the gap. This event is part of the ongoing series of Euroasia seminars to help New Zealanders better understand how to connect with people from other cultures."
