Koru Care Grateful for Support

Koru Care Charitable Trust has recently been emblazoned on the back of a Vernon Carriers Limited Truck.

Vernon Carriers an Avondale based transport and distribution company recently had the back of one of their truck and trailers painted depicting the work of Koru Care Charitable Trust. Neil Vernon, Managing Director, said “we have had a strong association with Koru Care for a number of years and wanted to spread the message of how important the Trust is to young people in the community.”

Koru Care will be taking a group of children to Disneyland and other great attractions in Los Angeles in October, and the timing of the Vernon Carriers truck and trailer hitting the road with their message couldn’t have come at a better time. Ann Bain Koru Care chairperson said “As we all know every charity is facing a difficult time, and we are no different, we are grateful for the support we are receiving from Neil and the team at Vernon Carriers and hope that when people see the truck and the Koru Care message that they will remember us when they look at who they will be giving their donation money to.”

Vernon Carriers has been helping other charities in the community, and will continue to do so as they are able, Mr Vernon said “it’s a trying time for charities to raise funds, and we are no different from anyone else in the community, we try and do our bit when we can, this is a gesture we wanted to make to show our support for what Koru Care brings to children who are living with ongoing medical conditions and terminals illness, and help to make dreams come true for these kids.”
