Members of the Tairawhiti Youth Voice Executive met with Councillors who are mentoring and supporting them for a before school breakfast meeting at McDonalds last week. Tairawhiti Youth Voice members and the councillors have agreed to meet four times a year to progress ways of working together. They have informally much more often than that. From the front of the table on the left Cr Brian Wilson, Cr Andy Cranston, Nikki Kennedy and Taimania Rickard from Revolution Youth, Hine Parata-Walker from Tolaga Bay Area School, Kennedy Sarich and Sam Whittle from GGHS and Cr Nona Aston.
