National Accounts (Industry Benchmarks) – information releases
These releases provide comprehensive industry data on production, investment, and capital stock. This data has been analysed in a supply-use balancing framework to reconcile the production, income, and expenditure measure of gross domestic product. It provides benchmarks for the level of economic activity , which update and maintain the quality of quarterly gross domestic product statistics.
This release replaces National Accounts, which was discontinued in November 2012. It was renamed National Accounts (Industry Benchmarks) to reflect an increased focus on the industry data.
Latest release
The latest releases contain tables on:
- gross domestic product: production, income, and expenditure measures
- industry output, intermediate consumption, value added, compensation of employees, and gross operating surplus
- gross fixed capital formation and net capital stock, by asset type, industry, and sector of ownership
- taxes on production and imports.
