Rotokauri, Waikato - Fatal crash

At about 4.25pm today (Thursday 22 November) Emergency services were called to the scene of a fatal vehicle crash at the Duck Rd/Fullerton Rd intersection, Rotokauri, Waikato.

Police are now able to confirm that a female has been killed in the crash. Another occupant has been hospitalised but is in stable condition.

Two other occupants of the vehicle were not seriously injured.

The road will remain closed - and detours in place - until a scene examination has been completed.

No further details regarding the deceased or injured persons are available at this time.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.

Hamilton Police are appealing to anyone who saw the silver Mazda Lantis sedan prior to the crash or who assisted at the crash scene, to contact Constable Dave TIDMARSH at  the Road Policing Base, Hamilton, on (07)850.7050.
