Police seek information on hit and run

On the 19th of November 2007 at approx 11am a blue holden vectra was backing out of its parking space in the main car park area directly in front of the main terminal at Christchurch Airport.

An elderly gentleman was walking on a pedestrian crossing which runs through the middle the car park.

The driver didnt see the gentleman and a collision has occurred.

As a result of being struck by the reversing vehicle the elderyly man has been knocked to the ground.

Police are appealing for witnesses in particular a woman who yelled out for the driver to stop.
