Slips and flooding close Northland road

Because of slips and flooding, SH1 north of Te Paki Stream Road, Cape Reinga is closed to motorists.

Because of the location, there are no alternative routes around the section of the road which is closed. 

Motorists intending to travel in the area are advised to delay any travel until further notice.
