Market cancelled this week

Margaret St Market has been cancelled today, 6 December, because of the threat of rain and gale-force winds.

"It's a real shame, but that's the reality of holding a market in an outdoor setting," says CBD Development Manager Cyndi Christensen.

“The forecast was just too bad to ignore, especially the high wind warnings. Let’s all hope the weather improves by the time next Thursday rolls around.”

The markets are scheduled to run every Thursday (weather depending) until 7 February 2013.
