Names of crash victims announced

The names of the two young people killed in a car crash at Wanaka last night have been released.

They are Caleb James Trembeth age 24 years, a Baker from Wanaka and Natalie Francis O'Neill aged 19 years of Invercargill.

Both died instantly at the scene from serious internal injuries.

Police have yet to speak formally with the driver and 2 other surviving passengers.
