Refurbished Hamilton Gardens Cafe open for business
After a full refurbishment and now under new management, Hamilton Gardens Cafe has re-opened for business.
The cafe, an integral part of Hamilton City Council-owned Hamilton Gardens, has been closed for an extensive refit following the departure of the previous operators in September.
Hamilton City Council General Manager Community Lance Vervoort says the refurbishment has transformed the cafe and will add to the visitor experience at the gardens.
“Hamilton Gardens is one of the region’s leading tourist attractions, and having Kerr and Ladbrook involved will enhance the experience for visitors,” Mr Vervoort says.
“We’ve worked closely with Kerr and Ladbrook to refit the cafe, and there is real enthusiasm and anticipation about what it will contribute to the visitor experience.”
Kerr and Ladbrook Director Ryan Ladbrook says: “The cafe looks fantastic, now it’s had a bit of love, and we’re really excited to be in there.”
Mr Ladbrook says the cafe will serve gourmet cabinet food, with an a la carte lunch offering available.
Hamilton Gardens Cafe will be open from 9am to 6pm daily. It will be closed on Christmas Day, but will be open all other statutory holidays during the festive season.
