Fatal Crash Truck vs car Mangatawhiti

At about 5:19 p.m. on the 20th of December 2012, Police attended a car verses truck on SH2 Mangatawhiri 300 metres north of Wyatt Road, one person from the car is deceased and the truck driver was hospitalised.  Emergency services are at the scene.  The incident is being investigated by the Police Serious Crash Unit.

Diversions are in place at the intersections of Kopuku Road and SH2 and Coalfields and SH2.
