Heavy Traffic

Police are receiving reports of heavy and slower moving traffic on State Highway 1 north of Wellington and through to the Manawatu.
       
The only reason we can find is that there are various Boxing Day events in the Lower North Island and with the nice weather people are out and about.

Police ask drivers to be patient and drive to the conditions over the Christmas break.
