Information sought from Taxi driver in relation to Panmure homicide

AUCKLAND

Police investigating the homicide of 27 year-old Nathan Albert wish to speak to a Taxi driver that sometime between 3.30am and 4.00am on Tuesday 01 January 2013 uplifted the victim Mr Nathan ALBERT from the lower end of the Auckland Central Business District (In the vicinity of Fort Street, Fort Lane and Customs Street West) and then delivered him to Pilkington Road Panmure.

Mr Albert died after being stabbed in Pilkington Rd, Panmure shortly after 4am on New Year's Day.

Detective Inspector Mark Benefield also advises that no weapon has been recovered and he appeals to residents in the vicinity that if they come across a knife or sharp instrument foreign to their property to call Police.
