Temporary Shutdown of Oakura Water Supply

The water supply to Oakura will be shut down tomorrow evening (Thursday) while a part is replaced on the town’s water main.

Every property on the Oakura supply will be without water from 10.00pm to 11.30pm tomorrow, while a fitting on the trunk main is replaced.

Manager Operations Graeme Pool does not expect any problems with the water supply once the work is completed. “However if anyone notices their tap water is cloudy the following morning, just run the tap until the water clears,” he says.
