The Hutt City Council's popular older adult exercise classes are back for another year.
Recreation and events manager, Duncan Chisholm says “a regular exercise programme can help protect older people from common injuries and the exercises are really simple and effective – anybody can do them.”
“Besides all the health benefits, the classes are also a bit of fun,” he said.
Four classes are being held at the Moera Community Hall and the Horticultural Hall supper room during Term 1 (4 February to 19 April) and are run by qualified and experienced instructors.
Zumba Gold – Toning classes run for 45 minutes from 10.45am – 11.30am Mondays, 4 February to 15 April in the Horticultural Hall supper room.
