Vikram Jayaprakash - Aging Medicine Doctor

Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash brings more than a decade of medical training and experience to his position as the Medical Director of Younger By Design in Auckland, New Zealand. An expert in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Jayaprakash employs an advanced model to help his patients attain the highest levels of physiological functioning. In addition, he possesses extensive knowledge of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures and holds membership with the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Inc. Since joining Younger By Design in 2011, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash has increased revenues at the company by 10 percent. He also acts as a General Practitioner at the Marsden Medical Practice, where he addresses a full spectrum of family health issues.

Prior to moving to New Zealand, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash completed his General Certificate of Secondary Education at the Island School in Hong Kong and earned his Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. Following graduation, Dr. Jayaprakash continued his medical training as a General Medical Senior House Officer (SHO) at Queen Alexandra Hospital, where he studied oncology, dermatology, nephrology, and more. He subsequently held Anaesthetic SHO positions at St. Richard’s Hospital and Worthing Hospital. Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash later returned to Queen Alexandra Hospital as an Intensive Care Unit Fellow.

Upon relocating to New Zealand in 2005, Dr. Jayaprakash accepted a position as an Anaesthetist at Auckland Regional Training, where he treated patients with obstetric and cardiac issues. He also spent time as a General Practitioner Registrar at The Peoples Centre in Auckland before taking his current positions.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash contributes to several charitable organizations, including Freemasons NZ and Camp Quality, a weeklong program for ailing children. Dr. Jayaprakash also supports the pro-business groups The ICEHOUSE and The Executive Connection (TEC) and belongs to the Auckland Polo Club, where he plays tennis and squash.
