As Clinical Director of the Younger By Design clinic in Auckland, New Zealand, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash follows a functional matrix model, offering patients with anti-aging and preventative medical services. Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash also provides clients with nonsurgical cosmetic options, utilizing dermal fillers and botulinum toxin (Botox) to create subtle enhancements in appearance. During his first six months with the clinic in 2011, he increased revenues by 10 percent.

Since August 2011, Dr. Jayaprakash has also served as a general practitioner at Marsden Medical Practice in Auckland. As a family physician, he treats a wide range of patients with acute and chronic conditions. In addition to undertaking clinical care and workload management responsibilities, he performs some administrative duties at the busy central location.

Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Southampton in England. He subsequently undertook general medicine and anaesthetics training at hospitals in Chichester and Worthing, and he completed a fellowship in intensive care at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. From 2005 to 2009, Dr. Jayaprakash worked as an anaesthetist with Auckland Regional Training. He then spent a year as General Practitioner Registrar at The Peoples Centre in Auckland, serving as a family doctor at the large inner-city medical practice.

With a background in practical research, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash has notably authored the New Zealand Medical Journal article titled “Colchicine overdose: the devil is in the detail.” He maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations, including The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, the International Hormone Society, and The AustralAsian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine.
