News Alert: Names of North and South Island to change

NEWS ALERT: Dribble NZ News regrets to inform viewers that the article "Names of North and South Island to change" is false. 

This was a breaking news ticker that we had automated so we could get the news to you if this were to happen, we have many of these including if there is a car accident we can alert viewers straight away. 

However at 2.52pm on Wednesday May the 15th a ticker went off, stating that we could confirm the name change, we are sorry and can not confirm this. 

The ticker was removed at 3.11 this afternoon by our technical staff after reporters saw the article. 

Investigations are underway to see how this occured and all tickers have been turned off until further notice, we do apoligies for this technical issue.
