Precious Metals' Hamilton's Chartwell store manager Natalie Benge is thrilled her store’s window display won third prize in a recent $30,000 Facebook competition; she puts her winning submission down to the combined creative efforts of her entire retail team.

The Retail Window Display Facebook Competition was organised by Kagi Jewellery designer and founder, Kat Gee and was open to all Kagi Jewellery retailers throughout Australasia during May.

There are over 250 Kagi Jewellery stockists throughout Australasia and Precious Metals Stores at Te Awa The Base and Chartwell are the only “Gold Status” stockists in the Waikato.

Managing Director, Fiona Platje, is proud of this achievement because it means her clients are assured that every time they visit a Precious Metals store they’re guaranteed to be able to view the full collection of Kagi Jewellery and thus mix and match individual components to their heart’s content.  “Our team works hard to ensure we offer only the best in customer service and satisfaction and being able to display each individual piece of Kagi Jewellery is very important to us” says Fiona.

Having Gold Status means that VIP customers also receive special privileges – like being able to meet with Kat Gee and be personally “styled” by her at exclusive VIP events.

The Facebook competition ran during May asking fans to vote for their favourite window display.  The first prize went to Showcase Jewellers in Te Awamutu and second to Everly Jewellers in Orange, New South Wales, Australia.

“It’s great to see two Waikato jewellers take out the top spots” said Fiona Platje of Precious Metals in Hamilton.
