A fire is out after being ablaze since 9.30pm yesterday.

infonews.co.nz began to get reports of the blaze in the residental street of Burn Street in Taranaki at about 9.30pm yesterday evening. 

At 10.45pm infonews.co.nz learnt that emergency services from as far away as Manaia were racing to the scene of the fire.

Two tankers are currently at the scene and four fire trucks are also at the blaze.

More than two police vehicles is at the house fire, including one ambulance. 

However infonews.co.nz can not confirm whether anyone is injured. 

At around 10.15pm infonews.co.nz could confirm the blaze was beginnning to get contained, by that time we could also confirm the place involved was a family home.

At 10.30pm infonews.co.nz learnt that the blaze was still roaring and that smoke is billowing over nearby roads.
