High Praise for Kapiti-Horowhenua Businesses
Customers are using superlatives to describe the performance of some Kapiti-Horowhenua retail and service businesses.
The comments have been made while lodging the more than eighteen hundred votes that have so far been cast in the first ever Customer Choice Awards. Voting closes on Friday this week (9th August).
Comments include outstanding and friendly service, awesome, great staff and great service, fantastic, second to none, inviting atmosphere, professional, affordable great range, full support, wonderful, exciting, ultimate favourite and fabulous. One voter even went to so far as to say that the company that had their vote should “walk away with this award hands down.”
Chair of Business Kapiti Horowhenua, Mark Ternent, says judges will choose the winner of each category of the Customer Service Awards based on all the data they receive from the votes cast and the comments made.
The interest in these particular awards is pleasing the overall Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards long-time principal sponsor, Electra. General Manager, Ross Leggett says the number of entrants and the response from the public is great. He hopes that this will encourage some of the Customer Choice businesses to enter the main awards next year.
There are twenty-six businesses across Kapiti and Horowhenua who have put themselves to the customer vote and awards organiser, Kirsten Kilmister, believes the success of the event will lead to many more participants in subsequent years.
Voting in the Customer Choice awards can be made until Friday via the Internet at www.bkh.org.nz.
