NEW PLYMOUTH

At midday today a buisness which will see retail prices for New Zealand flags, screen protectors for phones and so much more much cheapier and its all created by members of Taranaki youth.

The Facebook business which is named Get It Here New Zealand was created by students from around New Plymouth aged 14 and 15 to make some pocket money, but still sell the retail items for cheapier prices then other mainstream shops.

Get It Here New Zealand the youth made shop sells there iPhone 4 screen protectors for $2.10 each, "we purchase in bulk from our screen protector guy for $2 per protector so we only make .10c which helps towards packaging, and paper use, compared to 2Degrees,Vodafone or Telecom which sell iPhone 4 screen protectors for around $10 each and make a fortune.

However not only do Get It Here sell retail items but services in the New Plymouth area only, like car washes, lawns mowed, babysitting and much more.

Because today is Get It Here New Zealands grand opening there will be a large amount of deals and super saves says managing director Michael Riley.

"Two dollar car washes, six dollar mystery gifts valued at around fifty dollars, ten dollar mowed lawns and six dollar flags is just some of the deals we have on"

and at four oclock New Zealand time our massive deal will be published to Facebook which will only last till midday Saturday, its for people that like shopping at Centre City New Plymouths mall, PakNSave New Plymouth or The Warehouse" Michael said.

"Not just that we are speaking to our screen protectors guy who is also youth and located in New Plymouth who might be able to help along with a deal for us" Riley added.

The grandopening deals and big bang advertising is all helping get a bigger audience because "we cant bring the cheap prices to people without buyers, we know where to buy the stuff to sell, we just need people to buy it off us"

The Get It Here New Zealand Facebook page can be seen by clicking here.

By Monday of next week prices will go back to normal because the opening period is on for the weekend only, however even without the grandopening prices wont change that much.

Although lawn mowing will take a rise up to $25 per lawns, the final price can be minimised by supplying petrol and your own lawnmower, by allowing the grass clippings to stay on your property, and even by purchasing over $25 worth of Get It Here products which overall could bring the total cost down to $16.

Car washes will also return to normal price by next monday to $5.

"We are just all excited at Get It Here, especially for our major deal due out at 4pm. Its going to be a exciting one" Michael Riley said.

"Have a good weekend, be safe and have fun" he added.
