By utilising their bespoke metric called RBR (Rankings Based Reach) FIRST revealed that Maui currently takes the lead in natural search rankings and is the most visible site in the campervans and motorhomes market in the Google search engine results compared to its major competitors.
The campervans and motorhomes market is highly competitive, urging players to optimise their RBR to get ahead of their competition. FIRST also found out that majority of the sites have very low RBR scores, less than 20%. This represents a big opportunity for natural search optimisation. Popular search phrases are missing from most sites and in most cases very little is being done with organic search.
Included in the industry report is a consumer survey conducted by FIRST on what is most important for Kiwis searching for campervans and motorhomes online. It also reveals the top places customers go to when searching for information about campervans and motorhomes.
