Auckland-based family business Core Blimey donates to the Matamua Girl Guides In Papakura

In an act of social giving, Auckland-based packaging specialists Core Blimey have donated cardboard tubes to the Matamua Girl Guides in Papakura.
Core Blimey, which has been operating for 15 years, specialises in a wide range of packaging products, providing everything from mailing tubes to bubble wrap to cardboard boxes and to singlet bags.
The tubes were utilised by the Matamua Girl Guides to make kaleidoscopes. Made from the inner tubes donated by Core Blimey the Matamua Girl Guides Papakura had a fantastic and educational time making the kaleidoscopes.
Kym Chamberlin, of the Matamua Girl Guides, praised the generosity of Core Blimey and commented: “We cannot thank you enough for these tubes – the girls loved making them”.
Girl Guides is New Zealand’s biggest girl-only organisation, offering girls and young women the chance to participate in a wide variety of activities and outdoor adventures so that they reach their potential and can make a difference in the world.
This is not first time that Core Blimey have participated in social giving activities. Previously Core Blimey donated some much needed hay to the New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association.
Core Blimey have also donated 4000 calendar tubes to the Stardome Observatory and Planetarium so children can have a fun and educational experience by making their own telescope with them.
Core Blimey are fast establishing themselves as leaders of social giving in the Auckland area. Core Blimey has a family-owned business and prides itself on its reputation for great customer service, quality products and giving back to the community that they are actively a part of.
