Award-winning Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel will play host to an evening up close and personal with Misha’s Vineyard later this month.
Held on July 21st 6.30pm at Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel’s exquisite restaurant, Provenir, executive chef Peter Thornley will present five delicious courses paired with five stunning wines from Misha’s Vineyard.
Dishes include Alpine salmon, yuzu ice, red and white radish, lime and mirin paired with a Misha’s Vineyard Limelight Riesling 2013 and King Cole duck, salt baked shallots, bing cherry, wild mushrooms, licorice, three shot jus matched with a Misha’s Vineyard The High Note Pinot Noir 2009.
Desert features vanilla caramelised pineapple, spice, ’crumbs in my pocket’, tea petals, wild gorse flower ice cream expertly teamed with Misha’s Vineyard The Cadenza Late Harvest Gewürztraminer 2014.
Misha's Vineyard is located on a breath-taking edge of Lake Dunstan in Central Otago with the 57ha estate providing the optimal conditions for producing world-class wines.
